An Ohio farmer says he doesn’t want any more cuts to crop insurance in the next Farm Bill. Franklin County Farmer Jeff Schilling says crop insurance provides the best safety net for farmers.
“If we ever would have a catastrophe where we would loose 80 percent of our crop, that small government payment isn’t going to make up that difference, where crop insurance is going to help bring you back to a level where you can survive that bad year,” says Schilling.
