The USDA reports corn export inspections for the week ending March 13th were above what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 519,127 tons, down 64,407 from the week ending March 2nd, but up 112,085 from the week ending March 3rd, 2016. For the 2016/17 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 20,035,161 tons, compared to 15,664,810 in 2015/16.
Corn was reported at 1,547,022 tons, 97,019 higher than the previous week and 731,849 more than this time last year.
