The Senate Ag Committee has received all of the documents needed to begin the confirmation process for Secretary of Agriculture-nominee Sonny Perdue.
Chairman Pat Roberts has indicated the committee will move as quickly as possible to confirm Perdue. But according to a DTN report, it is unlikely a hearing will be held until next week because the committee will need a few days to review the paperwork, and the Senate will not be in session on Thursday and Friday.
