Soybeans were mixed with nearby months down and deferred contracts up, adjusting old crop/new crop spreads. Unknown destinations bought 120,000 tons of U.S. beans for delivery next marketing year. South American weather looks good with Brazil’s harvest moving quickly in most areas. AgRural says 56% of Brazil’s crop is harvested. Soybean meal was higher and bean oil was lower on the adjustment of product spreads. Informa Economics has 2017 U.S. soybean acreage at 86.5 million acres, with the USDA’s prospective planting report out on the 31st.
