Burdensome property taxes are a big concern for Nebraska farmers and ranchers. While visiting with Nebraska Corn Growers Association president Dan Wesley of Morse Bluff at last week’s Commodity Classic, we learned that Wesley also serves on his local school board, which gives him a rather unique perspective on the property tax issue.
During our interview with Wesley we also discussed important national issues, including trade, the farm bill and the ag economy.
