There was a moderate cattle trade in most areas yesterday. Southern live deals were marked at 124.00 to 125.00, generally steady with last week. Northern dressed business from 200.00 to 202.00, steady to 2.00 higher than last week. While it looks like Southern business could be essentially done, there will probably be more trade in the North sometime today or tomorrow. Asking prices on cattle left on the showlists are around 127.00 to 128.00 on a live basis and 205.00 dressed.
