It is starting to look like the feedlot cattle trade may be pretty much wrapped up for the week. DTN reports they have heard a few cattle may have traded in scattered parts of the North with better grading steers and heifers selling as high as 204.00. Yet yesterday’s action seemed to take care of the heart of most showlists. Unsold cattle remain priced at 128.00 in the South, and 204.00 in the North. Thursday’s cattle kill was estimated at 110,000 head, 5,000 less than last week, but 2,000 more than last year.
