Trade and water quality top policy concerns for Ohio farmers

Executive Director Kirk Merrit of the Ohio Soybean Council tells Brownfield delegates at Commodity Classic from Ohio are most concerned with trade and water quality. He says more work needs to be done to understand how nutrients leaves farm fields and policy should be supportive to farmers.
He adds about 62 percent of soybeans are exported and agriculture needs to be at the table as trade agreements are renegotiated.
