3,413 cattle were listed on the Fed Cattle Exchange Internet Auction on Wednesday, and only 523 head actually sold at a weighted average price of 123.69, down 1.30 from last week’s average. There are few scattered bids in feedlot country at 121.00 in Kansas and Texas, and 194.00 dressed in Nebraska. A few early asking prices have been suggested around 125.00 to 127.00 in the South, and 202.00 in the North.
The boxed beef cutout value is higher on Wednesday.
