U.S. ethanol production and supplies declined last week.
The industry has some uncertainty about governmental policy towards renewable fuels and export demand from China has dropped as Beijing focuses on their domestic industry, but near term U.S. domestic demand is expected to hold.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says average daily production was down 12,000 barrels a day to 1.022 million barrels. That’s 19 weeks in a row with an average of more than a million barrels a day, extending back to late last October.
