The February Purdue/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer dropped for the first time in three months and an ag economist says they are keeping a close eye on what could impact where producer sentiment is headed. “Planting decisions,” he says. “That’s going to send some market signals through the commodity market.”
Purdue’s David Widmar says movement in the commodity market could impact the early part of the 2017 growing season. “Will we see some moderation,” he says.
