The USDA releases its Prospective Plantings report at the end of March and an Indiana farmer says that was one of the most discussed topics with others at Commodity Classic.
Tom Griffiths farms in northeast Indiana and is chairman of the Indiana Soybean Alliance.
He says he heard a lot of farmers talking about shifting to more soybean acres this year. “From my standpoint, conservation farming, I’m still going to continue with my same rotation,” he says.
