Two farmers have been recognized as 2017 Ohio Master Farmers for a lifetime of achievement.
Mark Guess farms 8,600 acres of corn and soybeans throughout Greene County with his family. Over the years he has raised fed dairy, hogs and cattle and even grew processing tomatoes and fresh market vegetables during the ‘80. Now the farm focuses on row crops. Guess tells Brownfield he contributes his success to being a first generation farmer.
