The USDA reports soybean and corn export inspections for the week ending March 2nd were more than what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 535,920 tons, down 7,398 from the week ending February 23rd, but up 86,894 from the week ending March 3rd, 2016. For the 2016/17 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 19,468,269 tons, compared to 15,257,768 in 2015/16.
Corn was reported at 1,444,972 tons, 22,975 lower than the previous week, but 473,167 higher than this time last year.
