Governor Rick Snyder has declared March as Food and Agriculture Month in Michigan.
Michigan Department of Agriculture Director Jamie Clover Adams says March is not only a time to thank the state’s farmers, but also to look at the boundless career opportunities available in one of the largest sectors in Michigan.
The state’s food and agricultural industry provides more than $100 billion annually to the economy, employing 22 percent of the state’s workforce.
