Soybeans were higher on commercial and technical buying. Domestic demand is solid and the trade’s still talking about changes to renewable energy policy. Wire reports have a few thousand trucks carrying soybeans in the Amazon region of Brazil stuck following heavy rainfall. That is a short term condition, though. Soybean meal and oil were higher, following beans. The USDA says the domestic soybean crush during January was 171 million bushels, up 2 million on the month and 11 million on the year.
