The average price Minnesota farmers received for soybeans in January is more than a dollar higher than a year ago.
In its latest ag prices report, the USDA National Ag Statistics Service says the price paid for soybeans during the month averaged $9.38 per bushel.
That’s a dime better than the previous month and up $1.06 from the same period a year ago.
However, corn prices continue to weaken as Minnesota farmers received an average of $3.21 per bushel–down 23 cents from January 2016.
