National Pork Producers Council elated over WOTUS order
The domestic policy counsel for the National Pork Producers Council says he’s thrilled with President Trump’s executive order to stop the Waters of the U.S. rule. Michael Formica tells Brownfield Ag News it’s a great relief to pork producers and all of agriculture, “President Trump and EPA Administrator Pruitt have an opportunity to do a much better job and to do something that’s going to provide an equivalent level of environmental protection but also enable farmers to farm and businesses to expand and grow – put people back to work and make America great again.”
Formica expects new rule-making to go faster than environmentalists claim it will, “I’ve got high hopes for it.
