Missouri Farm Bureau members are hearing from and talking to their elected representatives this week. Legislative affairs director BJ Tanksley tells Brownfield some state lawmakers address members.
“And then also we’ll go to the Capitol and try to take our policies to them and talk to them about some of the issues that matter to our members most,” Tanksley told Brownfield Ag News.
Missouri Farm Bureau President Blake Hurst says it’s important that Farm Bureau members visit the Capitol to talk to their legislators so that the elected official is clear about what constituents need.
