The Fed Cattle Exchange Internet Auction had listings of 4,813 head today, with 2,855 head actually sold. The weighted average was 124.99, last week’s weighted average was 122.10. Offerings came from only three states this week, Kansas, Nebraska and Texas. It will be interesting to see if it gets the country business started like it did last week. There are a few scattered bids in the South at 123.00 where asking prices are around 128.00.
