Rumors of Trump executive order impacting RFS

The CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) says the Trump Administration has informed him of a pending executive order aimed at the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) that would cause the ethanol industry more harm than good.

In a statement, Bob Dinneen claims a White House official called this week to alert him of the President’s intention to change the point of obligation from refiners to position holders at the terminal.
