Minnesota Pork supports gas tax increase

The Minnesota Pork Producers Association supports a gas tax increase of up to five cents, with one important caveat.
President Jay Moore says that money must be earmarked to go to rural Minnesota to improve roads and bridges.
“It’s our infrastructure. We can’t operate effectively without a good system to get our product to the market, feed our animals, and so forth.”
He tells Brownfield while many rural roads need attention, bridges are the Association’s biggest concern.
