Feedlot country was generally quiet on Tuesday, a few cattle were reportedly sold in Colorado at 123.50 to 124.00, and private sources reported a few bids in Kansas at 123.00. For the most part bids and asking prices are poorly defined. Producers will be eager to see how Wednesday’s internet sale goes, hoping to get some clue as to where showlist cattle need to be priced. The cattle kill was estimated at 115,000 head, even with last week, but 4,000 more than a year ago.
