The leader of the dairy industry’s newest producer group says they are focused on national policy priorities. “Our highest priorities are ensuring a reliable labor force, overreach (of) EPA, and toning down, streamlining the regulatory impact and cost of regulation on dairy farms.” American Dairy Coalition CEO Laurie Fischer tells Brownfield they are also focused on animal well-being, food security, and labeling issues. Fischer says the coalition was created to represent dairy farmers and allied companies in Washington, D.C.
