Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mostly higher on spread trade and short covering. February was unchanged at $16.88, March was up $.12 at $17.03, April was $.13 higher at $17.13, and May was up $.09 at $17.18.
Cash cheese blocks were down $.005 at $1.605. There were a total of seven loads sold, including three at $1.605 and four at $1.61. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $1.61.
