The Fed Cattle Exchange Internet Auction Wednesday morning had 4822 cattle listed, 1556 head sold at an average price of 118.77, last week’s average was 118.72. A few scattered bids are being reported on the cattle in Texas at 115.00 live, a few asking prices are being reported at 122.00 in the South, and 192.00 to 194.00 in the North. While packer inquiry is starting to improve, it is possible significant trade volume will be delayed until the end of the week.
