Rain will gradually end later Wednesday across the southern Atlantic States, but snow will return to parts of the Northeast and linger into Thursday. Meanwhile, unusually warm, mostly dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days across the northern and central Plains, the Midwest, and the mid-South. Farther west, however, three storms will arrive during the next 5 days along the Pacific Coast. The first and third storms will primarily affect northern and central California and the Northwest, while the middle storm will take a southern track into central and southern California.
