Bids and asking prices in the cash cattle trade are not well defined as of yet and it could be Thursday or Friday before any significant business takes place. Beef cutouts bounced higher on Monday with early week box demand described as moderate to fairly good. Lower prices may be starting to renew buyer interest of retail and food managers.
Boxed beef cutout values on Tuesday morning were higher. Choice beef 188.46, up .26, select 187.96, up 1.38.
