A Mexican senator says he will introduce legislation this week to stop Mexico from buying corn from the U.S. in response to rhetoric from President Trump.
Mexican Senator Armando Rios Piter has been an outspoken critic of President Trump’s policies on building a border wall and immigration. At an anti-Trump protest in Mexico City on Monday, Piter told CNN he will send a bill to stop his government from buying corn from the Midwest and change it to either Brazil or Argentina.
