The executive director of the Minnesota Pork Producers Association says the tone and content of a recent newspaper article about a pending court case involving a feedlot in southeastern Minnesota gives the impression that all proposed Confined Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO’s) are controversial.

David Preisler tells Brownfield the Minneapolis Star Tribune story, which details a three year battle over environmental concerns with a CAFO in Dodge County, inaccurately portrays an attitude of resistance by local communities.
