Midday cash livestock markets

Although it is possible that more cattle trade will develop in the North today, it is looking like business is essentially complete in the South. Asking prices on cattle still on showlists are around 122.00 live and 192.00 plus dressed.

Boxed beef cutout values are mixed in the morning report. Choice beef is down .67 at 188.04, select 186.56, up .74.

Receipts at the Sheldon, IA Slaughter cattle Auction yesterday were 423 head.
