Senator vows for Midwestern influence in farm bill discussions

An Indiana Senator has vowed to make sure there is a strong Midwestern influence as discussions begin on the 2018 Farm Bill.
Joe Donnelly is a member of the Senate Ag Committee. “I’m going to make sure our voice is heard and our voice is respected,” he says. “And that any farm bill that is put together reflects the hopes and dreams of Indiana farmers also.”
He tells Brownfield the upcoming farm bill hearings are an opportunity for agriculture and Rural America’s questions and concerns to be addressed.
