The Chairman of the National Corn Growers Association says international trade has been good for American farmers.
Chip Bowling says given the depressed ag economy, the NCGA wants to see current trade agreements such as NAFTA, remain in place.
“We’re experiencing low commodity prices right now especially in corn. We’re at the cost of production or below that. And we don’t want ANYTHING to impede the sales of our products to anyone,” says Bowling.
