Soybeans were higher Tuesday on forecasts for more rain in Argentina. Dow Jones quotes analysts as expecting a 2.7 million metric ton reduction in USDA’s estimate of Argentina’s soybean crop, but estimates suggest increases in Brazil’s soybean crop may make up for Argentina’s losses. The question is whether demand will keep up.
Corn ended the Tuesday trading session higher, lingering near the upper end of its trading range with ongoing support from good corn demand.
