Fair Oaks Farms has plans for expansion.
Fair Oaks Farms CEO Gary Corbett says the public agricultural experience has plans for a new chicken egg layer facility that is expected to house between 500,000 and 700,000 birds as well as a new beef cattle feedlot.
He says the goal of the experience is to showcase and educate the public on modern commercial agriculture.
“It’s very important that people get to see a real life operating, 21st century facility and not a ringer, not a model but a commercially viable farming operation whether it be dairy, pigs, now poultry and beef cattle,” says Corbett.
