The USDA reports corn and soybean export inspections for the week ending February 2nd were more than what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 618,235 tons, up 286,175 from the week ending January 26th and 216,706 higher than the week ending February 4th, 2016. For the 2016/17 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 17,426,427 tons, compared to 13,765,807 in 2015/16.
Corn was reported at 1,113,212 tons, 50,712 more than the previous week and 655,319 above this time last year.
