A Wisconsin farmer is planting more soybeans this spring but is not cutting back on corn. Ben Augustine from Sheldon in southeastern Rusk County tells Brownfield he needs a consistent amount of corn for his dairy operation but expects to grow around 50 more acres of beans. “It’s probably going to be the same amount of corn. You know, I’m converting a little more acres from hay into row crop production this year. It’s just how the rotation fell.
