Soybeans were lower on commercial and technical selling. Development and harvest conditions in Brazil look good and what crop loss has occurred in Argentina is dialed in. The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange says 2016/17 acreage was down 4.5% from 2015/16 because of weather and economic issues. Export demand’s solid, but expected to slow down as those South American supplies hit the market in earnest. Informa Economics projects Brazil’s crop at 106.5 million tons.
