Former U.S. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack is endorsing Sonny Perdue for the position with the Trump administration.

Perdue is the only cabinet nominee to receive support from his predecessor in the Obama administration. In a release from the Trump transition team, Vilsack said he’s worked with Perdue and knows he’s committed to all farmers and ranchers.

Vilsack says he expects the former Georgia governor to work to expand opportunities in rural America.
