U.S. ethanol production established another new record high last week with an average of 1.061 million barrels a day.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says that was the third time a new record high has been hit already this year and it was the 14th week in a row with an average of more than a million barrels a day. Processing margins are good and there’s plenty of corn available.
The strong production has pushed stocks higher for the fourth week in a row, with supplies now close to the late March 2016 highs at 21.870 million barrels.
