An extension educator says as more women pursue careers in agriculture, opportunities for networking should be a priority.

Pauline Van Nurden with the University of Minnesota tells Brownfield while the general approach to addressing issues related to farming are the same regardless of sex, females tend to communicate differently than men.

“Women are always seeking that circle to get to know others in, look for support and ideas and all of that.
