College Rank, a website dedicated to evaluating college programs and experiences, has released its list of the Top 35 College Farms. The ranking takes into consideration student integration with sustainability factors, community programming, and courses available at the university or college farm – in addition to the coursework.
Monica Dennis with College Rank says farming provides nearly 10 percent of jobs in the US and university programs help students gain invaluable experience before starting their careers.
