The president and CEO of the North American Meat Institute is concerned that President Trump’s immigration ban could cause a significant impact on the meat industry.
In a statement released to Brownfield, Barry Carpenter said he hopes the administration gives careful consideration to the ramifications policy changes like these can have on businesses and on foreign born workers who are eager to build new lives in America.
The order provides for a four-month suspension to the nation’s refugee program.
