The USDA reports corn and soybean inspections for the week ending January 26th were above what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 321,479 tons, up 32,506 from the week ending January 19th and 36,671 higher than the week ending January 28th, 2016. For the marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 16,797,611 tons, compared to 13,364,278 in 2015/16.
Corn was reported at 1,061,865 tons, 75,597 more than the previous week and a jump of 335,047 from this time last year.
