Wisconsin Farmers Union members are discussing their 2017 policy priorities.
Nick Levendofsky from Farmers Union says delegates will be discussing everything from the transportation system and highway budgeting to lobbying for the high capacity well bill, but one issue stands out as job number one. “Our top policy issues for our convention and number one is relief for our dairy farmers. This has been a big part of our membership for many, many years and they’re struggling right now.”
