There are a few bids on cattle in Nebraska on Friday at 120.00 live and 193.00 dressed. Southern live sales yesterday were marked at mostly 122.00, generally steady with last week. Northern dressed trades ranged from 193.00 to 194.00, roughly a 1.00 to 2.00 lower than last week’s weighted average basis Nebraska. Asking prices on cattle left on the showlists are around 122.00 to 123.00 in the South, and 195.00 plus in the North.
Boxed beef cutouts are firm to higher in the morning report.
