The USDA reports corn, soybean, wheat, soybean product export sales for the week ending January 19th were above most pre-report estimates. Physical shipments of soybeans were above what’s needed weekly to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year, but corn and wheat fell short of their respective marks.
Wheat was a new marketing year high at 853,400 tons (31.4 million bushels), up sharply from both the week ending January 12th and the four week average.
