Soybeans were lower on commercial and technical selling. Brazil’s early harvest should be close to shipping out and Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations start this week, so export demand for U.S. soybeans could start declining soon. Weekly export sales were down sharply, but shipments were bullish. Beans are continuing to watch development weather in Argentina, with some recovery noted in areas that suffered from recent flooding. The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange projects 2016/17 production at 53.5 million tons, compared to 56 million in 2015/16.
