A research group projects double-digit growth in organic dairy product consumption.
New York-based TechSci Research expects an 11% annual growth rate until 2021. It says organic probiotics, energy-based milk drinks, and flavored organic milk will have strong demand. Sales for organic fluid milk, yogurt, cheese, and butter are also expected to go up.
TechSci Research says global healthcare costs are driving consumers to seek – in its words – “healthy” organic products.
