The Senate Agriculture Committee will host its first 2018 Farm Bill field in Manhattan, Kansas.
Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Pat Roberts says it’s time to get to work on another Farm Bill and the Committee is going to the heartland to talk directly to producers. He says they need clear direction on what is working and what isn’t working in farm country.
Ranking member Debbie Stabenow says as discussions begin the Committee needs input from farmers and families all across the country to craft a bill that continues to strengthen American agriculture along with small towns and rural communities.
